How it works
What the software does with a trade, from the moment it happens on one of your accounts to the moment the copy is closed.
- The pieces
- A desktop app on your laptop, and an agent on each VPS you rent. Each MetaTrader 5 account runs in its own terminal, in its own container, with a small expert advisor that reports what the account does and carries out what the agent asks.
- One VPS decides
- Your first VPS is the hub. It holds your configuration and decides every copy. Any other VPS reports to it and places the trades it is told to. A trade that starts on another VPS reaches the hub within about 30 seconds.
- Routes
- You choose which account copies to which. Each route has its own settings, and a route can cross from one VPS to another.
- Symbol names
- Mapped per route, by you: EURUSD.a on one broker to EURUSDm on another. A symbol you have not mapped is copied under the same name.
- Lot sizes
- A fixed size, a multiple of the source, or in proportion to the two accounts' balance or equity. The result is rounded to the destination broker's lot step and limits. Copying into a netting account is refused.
- Stops
- Stop-loss and target levels are copied as distances from the entry, not as prices, and applied to the copy's own fill. Moving a stop on the source moves it on the copy; removing it removes it.
- Partial closes
- Closing part of a position closes the same fraction of each copy.
- Pending orders
- Copied only on routes where you turn them on. The entry price is copied as it stands; stops as distances. Changes and cancellations follow.
- When something fails
- A copy that fails for a temporary reason is tried again a limited number of times. One the broker refuses outright is not, and the reason is recorded.
- Laptop closed
- Copying runs on the VPS as a service that restarts itself. The desktop app is only for setting it up and looking at it.
- Licence
- The app checks your licence and passes the signed result to your VPSs, which verify it themselves. A lapsed licence stops new accounts being added. It never closes, changes or abandons an open position. In this test build it does not yet stop new copies opening.
Your decisions, not ours. Nothing here chooses what to trade. The software only repeats what your own accounts do, along routes you set up.
Your machines. Every step above runs on hardware you rent. What reaches us is a licence check, never a trade.
